For members of the U.S. military deployed overseas, the companionship of a local stray animal can bring much-needed comfort during times of loneliness and hardship. But all too often, our country’s heroes are forced to leave their four-legged friends behind when they return home to the United States. Founded in 2008, SPCA International’s Patriot Pets program has reunited service members from all military branches with over 1500 animals they’ve rescued from multiple countries in the Middle East, Central Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Until we see peace in every corner of the world, Patriot Pets will continue to serve our country’s heroes.. We consider every request, regardless of the location, a chance for SPCA International to give back to our troops. Your donations help us fulfill this important mission.
