Their Work

Save A Dog Network Canada (SADN) was established with a mission to provide a more humane solution to the current overpopulation of injured and unwanted dogs roaming First Nation communities in northern Manitoba. For over 5 years, they have been providing education to community members as well as low-cost veterinary care for their animals.

Run entirely by volunteers, SADN currently networks with approximately 30 First Nations communities, shelters and rescues. The focus of the organization is primarily within Manitoba, however their support and network extend across Canada. SADN helps provide resources, food, first aid supplies, cleaning supplies, and other items to helps the dogs in their care while they wait to be adopted into forever homes. Each year, they are able to rescue and feed over 500 dogs, as well as sterilized roughly 300 dogs and cats in First Nations communities.

SPCA International is proud to support Save a Dog Network as they further their dream to help animals and communities that are in need all across Canada.
