Their Work
The SEN Foundation was created in 2020 by a group of 27 volunteers who had been actively rescuing animals in Kazakhstan for over 10 years. The organization rescues and rehabilitates animals with the long-term goal to help children with hearing problems, speech delays, reading or socialization difficulties by using Animal Assisted Intervention practices.
This long-term pilot project consists of 3 main components: Save, Educate, and Navigate. The SEN Foundation hopes to educate the younger generation about the benefits of kindness towards animals, and how to be responsible caretakers. They also seek to improve the mentality of the general public towards animals as they continue to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the homeless, abused or neglected dogs and cats.
SPCA International is proud to support this young organization in its goals and help them grow their impact for the animals in their community.
