Their Work

Asociación Protectora de Animales de la Calle (APAC) is a shelter in Juarez, Mexico, with the mission to rescue and house stray dogs in the community. They provide hundreds of stray dogs with a safe home every year until loving families adopt them. The Asociación Protectora de Animales de la Calle team believes spaying/neutering is vital to the well-being of the animals and people in the community, so many of their efforts are focused on mass sterilization campaigns targetting street dogs. They also offer free and low-cost sterilization services to low-income pet owners in the community.

SPCA International is proud to support the APAC and its commitment to stray animals in its community.
