Founded 27 years ago in Mojacar, Spain, PAWS-Patas is a shelter-based organization caring for the stray and abandoned animals in the province of Almeria.
PAWS-Patas helps roughly 400 animals annually. Provided essential medical care and finding permanent homes locally and internationally. In addition to the care, PAWS-Patas brings to animals they also increase public awareness of animal welfare issues through humane education programs.
SPCA International is proud to support PAWS-Patas and their nonstop efforts to care for and reduce the number of stray animals in their area.
