Their Work
Amici Cannis was created to deliver non-profit veterinary services through the Amici Cannis hospital in the small highland town of Cotacachi, Ecuador. This state-of-the-art animal hospital provides full-service veterinary care, including
free sterilization, vaccination, deworming and veterinary care for local families that have a significant need. Amici Cannis also hosts large-scale sterilization, vaccination and deworming campaigns in the many underserved indigenous villages surrounding Cotacachi, and TNR and veterinary care of the “community dogs and cats” in the town.
SPCA International is impressed by Amici Cannis’s commitment to the animals in their community. We are proud to support their mission of transforming the lives of animals and people in Ecuador.
