Their Work
Sirius is the biggest shelter for homeless animals in Ukraine. Since 2000, they have been sterilizing and finding a permanent home for dogs and cats, helping to humanely solve the problem of a huge number of homeless animals. They have helped over 10,000 animals loving home.
When the war broke out between Russia and Ukraine, Sirius jumped into action to help animals impacted. Every day, they risk their lives to ensure innocent animals get the urgent medical care they need and have food, water, and a safe place to rest.
SPCA International is inspired by Sirius Shelter’s courage and determination. We are honored to call them a partner and are committed to supporting their life-saving work.
