Founded in 2007, Healing Animal SCARS (Sonya’s Cat and Animal Rescue) has been dedicated to providing medical care to the stray and feral cats of Nova Scotia.

Healing Animal SCARS works tirelessly to provide the cats of Nova Scotia the best chance at life through rescue, adoption, trap/neuter/vaccinate/release, feral colony care and humane education. With the hard work of 25 volunteers Healing Animal SCARS is able to help 150+ animals every year.
