Their Work
Founded in 2017 Plush Bears Shelter has been focused on raising awareness for victims of abuse and the Chinese dog and cat meat trade.
Plush Bears Shelter routinely rescues dogs and cats from the brutal meat trade, they then work tirelessly to rehabilitate and rehome these victims. Through their efforts, Plush Bears Shelter has been able to help over 450 animals every year. In addition to their tremendous rescue and rehabilitation efforts, Plush Bears Shelter is developing a humane education program to increase awareness in local communities.
SPCA International is honored to support Plush Bears Shelter as they care for the hundreds of animals in their care during the 2020 Coronavirus lockdown as well as their incredible ongoing efforts to combat the dog and cat meat trade.
