Their Work
Over the last decade, Sasha’s Shelter has saved over 1,100 dogs in Nis, Serbia. The majority of the dogs were rescued from cruel conditions, had suffered abuse, and were on the verge of death. Sasha’s Shelter currently houses 750 dogs and understands the critical role sterilization has in managing the stray animal population. They are committed to spaying and neutering all animals under their care, as well as providing sterilization and vaccination services to owned animals that would otherwise not be able to receive these services.
SPCA International is proud to support Sasha’s Shelter sterilization efforts and help them improve the lives of abandoned animals and the community.
