Thank you for your interest in SPCA International’s Shelter Support program. SPCA International is proud to support and promote the efforts of more than 350 organizations that seek to enhance the welfare of animals in the U.S. and around the world. We receive a high volume of requests, but we make every effort to address all applications as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Before submitting a grant request form:

The grant request form will be open for new submissions on the following dates in 2025*.

February 3 – 10

May 5 – 12

August 4 – 11

*These dates may be subject to change.

1. The Shelter Support program is designed to help established non-profit organizations.  SPCA International does not offer grants to individual, independent animal rescuers. To proceed in the grant process, you will need a copy of your official non-profit license/certificate.

2. There is a 3-month timeline for requests to be reviewed. Once reviewed and if your request is approved, you will be contacted by a member of our team. If you are not contacted within 3 months of submitting your application, please submit a new request at the next submission window.

3. If your request has been approved, you will receive a private application link. Please note that the application will require you to provide the organization’s bank account information and 6-8 clear photos.

4. You must be able to provide a working budget for your organization, indicate how much assistance you need, and how the funds will be used.

5. Your organization must have an active social media presence. Please include links to your social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) on the grant request form.

6. A member of our team may contact you if we have additional questions or information about your organization’s work.

Due to extremely high demand, applications will be closed until further notice.
