Founded in 2013, Animal Welfare “Dingo Team” has been helping 700 animals annually through their programs and community outreach.

Animal Welfare “Dingo Team” was one of the first organizations in Armenia dedicated to supporting the stray animal population. Through their community programs they work to feed and give medical care. Each year, on average, they sterilize around 500 animals and rehome around 300 animals each year. In addition to caring for the animals, they also have education programs focused on the youth and encourage locals to report cases of animal abuse.

Brandywine Valley SPCA (BV SPCA) is Pennsylvania’s first no kill shelter and has been saving animals in their community since 1929. They have several facilities across their area to maximize their efforts for animals.

BV SPCA became a partner of ours at SPCA International through some unfortunate circumstances. In Dec. 2021, a violent tornado destroyed several communities across western Kentucky, leaving many animals stranded without homes. BV SPCA was one of the first organizations to spring into action to assist the Kentucky Humane Society to take in some animals, give them proper medical attention, and rehoming those in need.

While the beginning of our partnership was through tragedy, we honored to partnered with such a selfless and know it will blossom to something beautiful and loving.

Thank DOG I am Out Dog Rescue Society (TDIAO) is a non-profit based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, that was founded in 2015. Their mission involves saving abused, neglected, and at-risk animals from a horrific end. Through the help of their great number of volunteers, they have conducted many missions to bring animals from other countries to safety. To date, they have found loving forever families for just over 1,000 animals.

TDIAO has become a highly valued SPCA International partner that has worked tirelessly alongside us in the evacuation mission of over 300 animals from Kabul, Afghanistan. They have assisted us in the logistics of transport and been a local resource to prepare the temporary housing facility for the animals. SPCA International is proud to support such a hard-working and dedicated partner like Thank DOG I am Out Dog Rescue Society.

Located in Doha, Qatar, Paws Rescue Qatar is an animal welfare organization assisting at-risk, stray animals in their community. Qatar is a harsh, hot environment, especially for homeless animals who are unable to seek refuge and water. Along with their network of volunteers, they are able to save these animals from these conditions and give them proper meals, water and vetting for aliments. Since their founding in 2014, they have created a valuable network of flight volunteers and foster families to help transport the animals abroad to loving homes.

Through some unfortunate circumstances of the past year, the organization lost their property and desperately searched for new facility for the animals in their care. Once they found a piece of lovely property, they reached out to SPCA International for a lifeline to set up their new facility.

For locals and tourists alike, the sight of stray dogs wandering around is a familiar one. In Tbilisi alone, despite various dog control programs being declared, it is estimated there are tens of thousands of dogs wandering the city’s parks and streets fending for themselves, struggling to survive.

The mission at D.O.G. is to address the many different roots of this problem; and in turn, reduce the number of stray dogs, help homeless animals and promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.

In addition to caring for dogs in the community and rehoming them, they have several community outreach programs, including a TNVR program, education outreach, and providing small grants to local stray caretakers.

St. Tammany Humane Society DBA Northshore Humane Society

Northshore Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue and community veterinary clinic located in Covington, LA. Since 1953, they strived to be the premier organization dedicated to enhancing and saving the lives of pets in the Northshore region through community engagements, adoption, spay and neuter programs and sheltering.

Each year, Northshore Humane Society rescues, cares for and finds loving homes for homeless animals in their community. Their community vet clinic provides excellent veterinary care to both rescue pets and to beloved family pets, with all funds raised through the clinic directly impacting the care of the homeless animals in their shelter. Northshore Humane Society is also able to provide a variety of low-cost pet care to people in need. These services include low-cost spay/neuter opportunities, microchipping, and vaccinations, helping serve the animals of St. Tammany, Washington, Tangipahoa, and St. Helena Parishes.

MSPCA-Angell

The mission of the MSPCA-Angell is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society. Founded in 1868, they are the second-oldest humane society in the United States.

The Animal Care and Adoption Centers care for and adopt out thousands of animals yearly at three locations: Boston, Methuen and Cape Cod. In 2020, they placed over 4,000 domestic and farm animals into loving adoptive homes. MSPCA-Angell operates Community Outreach programs that work to keep families and pets together. They pursue this goal by offering affordable and accessible animal care resources to families in underserved communities. Last year their team provided nearly 6,000 subsidized medical care treatments to animals in need. MSPCA-Angell also operates an animal hospital that serves over 102,000 animals a year at its locations in Boston, Waltham, Angell at Nashoba and Angell at Essex.

Northeast Animal Shelter aims to help animals and people by providing humane care and resources for homeless and owned pets in need. Established in 1976, Northeast Animal Shelter is one of New England’s largest animal adoption centers.

Each year, the shelter’s animal relocation program transports thousands of cats and dogs from overpopulated animal shelters across the country to Massachusetts, where each animal receives medical care, enrichment, and behavior training prior to adoption. In 2021, Northeast Animal Shelter became affiliated with MSPCA-Angell, creating the opportunity to connect thousands of more pets with adopters than either organization could accomplish on their own. Northeast Animal Shelter also promotes compassion for all animals through their community programs and partnerships, which focus on strengthening the human-animal bond to keep people and pets together.

Poppyland – Dobra Nada (Good Hope)

Dobra Nada has been providing shelter and care for stray dogs and cats for over 20 years. They rescue abandoned, injured, neglected and homeless animals and ensure they receive food, vaccinations and medical treatment, and lots of love. All of the animals in their care are spayed or neutered, and although they are working to increase the value of adoption and have regular appearances on a local television station. The owner, Snezana, works tirelessly to ensure that the animals in her shelter feel loved and safe, and they hope to continue for many more years.

Ping An A Fu Rescue Center

Ping An A Fu Rescue Center was founded in 2002 in Nanjing, China. Witnessing the harsh life of stray animals in her area, the founder Ha Wenjin decided to devote her life to animal welfare. She purchased a 2-acre property in Xindian in the Nanjing countryside, which became the base shelter of the rescue center and home to thousands of rescue animals.

The Ping An A Fu Rescue Center strives to protect and rescue dogs and cats from the meat trade, promote spay and neuter for domestic animals, and educate the public about the importance of animal welfare. They operate animal shelters in three separate locations, where they currently provide care for over 4,000 dogs and 300 cats in total.

SPCA International is proud to provide support to this organization as they continue their mighty efforts to protect and care for the homeless and injured animals in their region.
