Kuwait Awareness, Rehabilitation & Education (KAREQ8) is a foster-based animal rescue that has been saving animals in critical conditions for over 6 years.

KAREQ8 strives to help abused animals find homes with loving, caring families. While they mostly rescue cats and dogs, they have helped rescue many types of animals, including small animals, horses, baboons purchased as pets, and even camels. KAREQ8 firmly believes that the solution to good animal welfare begins at home and in school, and they use their platform to reach out to children and teach them love and compassion for all animals.

Kabul Small Animal Rescue is a veterinary clinic and non-profit organization that has been helping animals in Afghanistan for over 1 year.

Kabul Small Animal Rescue is dedicated to providing safe, healthy boarding options for their rescue partners, who help international adoptions of Afghan cats and dogs. Through their veterinary clinic, they provide high-quality medical care to owned dogs as well as veterinary care, boarding and adoption options to injured or orphaned street animals. Their main focus is to provide a home-like environment for the animals in their care, so they employ overnight staff to keep their cats company and make sure their dogs get several hours of play and socialization every day through monitored playgroups.

Located in Vancouver, RESCUE ALL DOGS (RAD) is focused on saving dogs who are at risk of being euthanized as well as those who are abandoned, abused and neglected.

While RAD is based in Canada they also facilitate the rescue of animals out of the United States and the Middle East. All dogs that come into their dedicated care receive attention for their vast network of animal welfare focused volunteers who prepare them for their forever homes.  In addition to their rescue work, RAD also promotes humane education and advocates for the ethical treatment of animals all over the world.

With a primary focus on at-risk animals in the California shelter system, Pet Rescue Pilots has changed the lives of roughly 1,000 animals for the better. All animals, from dogs and cats to goats and pigs, Pet Rescue Pilots will transport them all. With only 1 employee and 3 volunteers, Pet Rescue Pilots transports these lucky animals to rescue groups, foster homes and adoptive families throughout the United States.

Founded in 2014 by Michele Augsburger, Association Le Coeur sur la Patte Agadir has been working tirelessly to protect the street animals of Agadir, Morrocco from cruelty and neglect

Le Coeur sur la Patte is home to over 1000 animals including, dogs, cats, donkeys and mules, no animal is turned away. All of the work Le Coeur sur la Patte is able to accomplish comes at the hands of 18 individuals. Through rescuing abandoned animals off the streets, providing trap-neuter-vaccinate-release (TNVR) programs and humane education to the community, the team at Le Coeur sur la Patte does it all.

SPCA International is proud to partner with Association Le Coeur sur la Patte Agadir as they improve the lives of the neglected street animals of Morocco and to support the establishment of a new TNVR program.

SPCA Puerto Vallarta is a shelter-based group focused on the rescue, medical care, rehabilitation and ultimate adoption of companion animals. In 2019 alone the team at SPCA Puerto Vallarta rescued and adopted out 250 animals and sterilized over 500 in their spay and neuter clinics. Functioning as a no-kill shelter SPCA Puerto Vallarta provides sanctuary to animals who are unadoptable because of their disabilities.

Founded in Croatia SOS Cat Rescue has been working non-stop since 2014 to reduce the number of abandoned, abused and neglected feral and stray cats in Zagreb.

Through their many programs, SOS Cat Rescue helps roughly 350 cats every year. Through rescue, foster and rehabilitation, SOS Cat Rescue gives abandoned and injured cats the best chance of finding a forever home. SOS Cat Rescue also cares of cat colonies throughout Zagreb, provides humane education to the community and have established a trap-neuter-vaccinate-release program to humanely decrease the stray population.

Fauna Foundation is dedicated to providing life long care to chimpanzees and monkeys, a majority of which were previously used for research purposes. The primates at Fauna Foundation are cared for by experienced and compassionate staff dedicated to helping them heal from the traumas of captivity and research. Through enrichment, high-quality diets, routine medical care and relationship building the primates at Fauna Foundation are respected and appreciated for the rest of their lives.

Marley’s Mutts

Founded in Tehachapi, CA Marley’s Mutts is focused on creating a lasting impact on communities through the creation of second chances for the almost forgotten dogs of Kern County.

Marley’s Mutts operates in a county with one of the highest euthanasia rates in the United States. Marley’s Mutts gives these abandoned souls a second chance by rescuing them from death row, rehabilitating them and finding them loving forever homes. In addition to their rescue work Marley’s Mutts also has their Mutt Movers transportation network, Miracle Mutts program which uses therapy dogs to provide community outreach and education, as well as their Pawsitive Change Prison Program which pairs incarcerated men with rescue dogs for mutual rehabilitation.
