Cairo Animal Rescue Team (CART) was founded in 2017 in Cairo, Egypt. Focused on rescuing the abandoned and abused animals in their community, CART is providing a brighter future for the animals of Egypt.

CART is a shelter-based rescue organization that provides veterinary care, rehabilitation, rehoming and humane education as well as advocating for better animal protection laws. No animal is turned away, CART provides care to all creatures from cats to monkeys.

Founded in Tartasesti, Romania, Asociatia Sache (Sache Foundation) is working to reduce the number of homeless animals while striving to make an impact on communities by educating them on animal welfare and the benefits of animal rescue.

Sache Foundation provides sterilization, routine and emergency medical care, vaccinations and specialty surgeries at no cost to low-income households as well as treating and rehabilitating homeless animals. Through their rescue work, Sache Foundation, has found loving homes for over 200 animals in 2019.

SPCA International is proud to support Sache Foundation and their ever-expanding work by assisting them in establishing a quarantine unit.

Founded 22 years ago by Dejan Gacic, Vucjak Shelter and Wildlife Sanctuary has been providing shelter to the abandoned and abused animals of Serbia.

With roughly 600 dogs living at Vucjak Shelter and Wildlife Sanctuary you would think it would take an army to care for them. However, Dejan is the sole caretaker for the dogs and wildlife at the shelter, making it his life’s work. Through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and humane education Vucjak Shelter and Wildlife Sanctuary is creating a brighter future for the stray dogs of Serbia.

Founded in 2015 in Leona Valley, CA, Reversed Rescue is working hard to save as many bully breed dogs in CA as possible and implement “No Kill” across all shelters in their state.

Reversed Rescue is comprised of only 3 employees and 6 volunteers. These dedicated workers help save pitbulls that are victims of illegal animal cruelty such as fighting rings and horrible back yard breeders. By providing medical care, sanctuary, rehabilitation, adoption and most importantly TLC to these abused and neglected dogs.  Reversed Rescue strives to make a difference in these dogs’ lives. In addition to their rescue work, Reversed Rescue also provides disaster relief to the animals in their area impacted by natural disasters.

Founded over 20 years ago, Asociación de Amigos de los Animales (AMA) is working hard to improve the lives of the animals and their human caretakers in Guatemala City.

AMA is a foster-based group with roughly 15 volunteers and 3 employees who work tirelessly to provide essential care to abandoned and neglected animals. Through their rescue and adoption work AMA helps 200+ animals every year. AMA also supporters locals who care for stray animals, by helping them afford medical care and finding adoptive homes. Additionally, AMA provides wildlife rehabilitation services and humane education.

Founded over 6 years ago, Animal Rescue Nyander Guard is working hard to improve the lives of domestic animals trapped within the Fukushima exclusion zones.

This shelter based group works tirelessly to rescue domestic animals still trapped within the Fukushima exclusion zone. Since the nuclear disaster at the Fukushima power plant, Animal Rescue Nyander Guard has been striving to provide medical care to the rescued animals, reuniting families with their beloved pets, and adopting out cats and dogs to new families. Dogs that reside in heavily radiated areas and are unable to be removed are carefully monitored and cared for throughout the year.

Founded 5 years ago, RANA – Rescue Animals of North Africa was established to prevent the suffering of animals across Libya and Tunisia.

Run by a small but dedicated group of volunteers, RANA helps over 100 animals every year. Volunteers on the ground in Libya and Tunisia work around the clock to ensure that all animals brought into their care receive medical attention, nourishment and lots of TLC. Through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, medical care and humane education RANA is drastically reducing the suffering of the abandoned and abused animals of Northern Africa.
